Bartosz Pieta (POL) managed to score 511 points against Nick Ball (CAN) this round, an achievement in itself, but lost to Ball's 514.

Nigel Richards (Wru) loses a third game today, to Tony Leah (CAN), the first day so far that he has lost three games. He loses his one-game lead and, worse, falls to second place on 18-7 +1531, behind Andrew Fisher (AUS) +1553, who defeated David Boys (CAN) 531-395. Also on 18-7 is Craig Beevers (Eng) +887.

The best record on the day: Aaron Chong (MYS) with an 8-1 +564, bringing him up from 99th place to 40th.
