It's the last regular round of the Championship. TD Wilma Vialle remind players that the winner of the final game gets to take home the board, and the loser the tiles. At Board 1, Andrew Fisher (AUS) plays Dave Wiegand (USA) in what is effectively a semifinal match to see who faces Nigel Richards (Wru) tomorrow in the finals. Everyone else is playing for some combination of: the $20,000 in prize money that goes to third through tenth place, WESPA ratings, national qualification quotas for 2013, and personal satisfaction.

In an exciting match, with two bingoes apiece, Andrew beat Dave 449-380. They shook hands, and as people started pumping Andrew's hand excitedly, he gradually came to understand that he was not in fact a game behind Dave, but had qualified to face Nigel tomorrow in the finals.

The finals start tomorrow morning at 9:30 A.M. local time, and will be broadcast live on the website in the Games section, and by closed circuit TV to the rest of the players in Warsaw Hall.
